1991

Establishment

Established in 1991, Computer Zone marked it's presence in IT industry. Founded & owned by Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji, a visionary having an outstanding experience of over two decades (prior to establishing this company) in Publishing and Distribution of Books and Magazines, aimed at specializing in publishing and distributing computer books, developing and publishing software. In the very first year of its operation, they acquired distribution rights of a computer science text book, written by Bro. D’Souza of St.Columba’s School – a renowned Educational Institution, which pioneered computer literacy in the country and produced some of the best talents in the country.

1994

India’s First Astrology Software
– KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS®

In 1994, Computer Zone completed the development of India’s first Indian Astrological software in the name of KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® under its founder Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji. Since 1994, KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® , is star product of the company enjoying reputation amongst millions of its users in India and abroad.

2002

Collaboration with Horizon aarc

Computer Zone collaborated with Horizon aarc in year 2002 for development of various Astrology Softwares and publication of Astrology Books written by Acharyasree Pawan Chandra ji. Further rectification of errors and development of new features in KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® software was also transferred to Mr. Kshitiz Chandra under Horizon aarc team.

2004

Publication of Computer Science Books

Computer Zone published a set of Computer Science text books for Schools from Class I to X as also another Computer Science Book authored by Bro. D’ Souza on C++, which altogether helped the company to establish a name symbolic to Computer Education Industry in the country.

2005

Re-Development of Kundli for Windows®

In 2005 Computer Zone re-developed the KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® software as joint venture with Horizon Aarc to make it compatible on latest windows and to add latest features and calculations. Under the expert guidance of Acharyasree Pawan ji, and Master developer Kshitiz Chandra along with his dedicated team, enriched the software with precise calculations and better predictions. During 2005 company also published various books and software packages.

Release of Astrology Books Vivaha and Samay

Computer zone published Vivah and Samay books written by renowned Astrologer & Researcher Acharyasree Pawan Chandra ji. The event was conducted at Lucknow by Times of Astrology Group.

2010

Company Ownership to Mr. Kuldip Dua

Having worked for over 45 years, the founder (Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji) has passed the legacy in 2010 to Mr. Kuldip Dua who is the responsible to carry forth the name of Computer Zone on his shoulders with the same dedication and trust worthiness that Computer Zone has build for itself in the past 3 decades.
Mr. Dua has enjoyed a good long career in the printing industry for the past 30 years and has simultaneously worked on overseas projects in Solar energy.

2014

Released KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® 7.5

Computer zone re-worked on interface, tools and added many utilities in the legendry software under the guidance of Mr. Kuldip Dua and expertise of Horizon aarc to released KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® 7.5 version with compatibility on latest Windows 8,10,11 (32 & 64 bit) versions.

2021

Emotional and financial blow

Year 2021 deeply anguished with the demise of founder of Computer Zone & KUNDLI FOR WINDOWS® software,Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji.

Tribute to Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji

A tribute to the great visionary Late Shri Kamall Dev Ji: Horizon aarc, in year 2021 started the development of Kundli for Android mobile app with the founder's vision to provide a precise astrology program having most advanced prediction on mobile platforms.
